This is a Mother of Pearl blank on an Ultra Cigar. I'm not sure if I like the blank or not. It turned easily -- seemed a bit less brittle than most PR, but not sure if I like the look. I'm pretty sure I don't like it on the Ultra. It looks too busy.

Good looking pen......although i'll agree it's a tad busy....

.....did you cast the mother-of-pearl blanks yourself?

I agree with your assessment that it is "over the top"/ However, when you see a lady walking by with TOO MUCH jewelry, assign your pen TOO HIGH a price and sit back and wait for her to fall in love with your TOO MUCH pen.

Sell it, go home, make another!!!

At least that's been MY experience with pens I don't like.:biggrin::biggrin:

Nice but not a fan of the flashy kit. I just made a couple of these blanks for sierra pens. Going to have to give it a turn next. Thanks for sharing.
