I was inspired to try this from the "how to" article by DW.(thank you sir for sharing)

Pen is most of a Jr. Gent. I painted the tubes white which looks ok other than at the top of the body where the tube stops and the cap which are both darker. Going to try black next time and maybe paint the inside of the blank rather than the tube to see if the look will be more uniform. Going to try a wood one next, won't have to worry about the transparency
