Mopani

This Jr. Gent is made from a piece of Mopani that I got from Don (it's virgil). I was looking for wood from Botswana and Don recommended this. I gave it to a pastor friend who is leaving on his second trip to Botswana tomorrow (Monday, May 25) where he has been doing some work at an orphanage.

The blank looks much better on that pen than it ever did in my cabinet drawer. Nice thought and the pen looks great. Just think, that piece of mopani is going home....and they say you can't ever go home again.
