Did you coat the metal with CA? Finish looks great!

no, didn't coat with CA.
I find plastic polish as good, or better than, metal polish that you buy for Mokume. Also, hold a rag against it while it's spinning and let it get hot. Once it gets really hot, it will pop another shade of shine.
