I like the size and shape of the Pluma pen, but don't really care for the center band. By eliminating the two tubes and replacing them with one tube 1/4" longer than the combined length of the original two tubes I came up with this pen. I don't know if anyone else has tried this, but I think it makes an attractive pen.

Lovely pen !! . I especially like the matte finish on the black barrel.

I do that same modification on that kit and agree with you that it looks a lot better than the original design.

Ben I like that kit and the mods you did to it. Well done. Where did you get the kit and is the top part the twist?? Also like your display stand. :)

I believe the kit was purchased at Woodcraft and yes it is a twist top. The little display stand is made from a scrap of 1" Plexi-Glass.
