Modified churchill

This is a modified sterling Churchill rb in curly koa and maple with a sterling silver ring for a cb.

Barry,
I was able to get the last ten of these rings as they were being discontinued, they are about the thickness of the brass tube larger than the kit band(id).

Glenn, I love everything about it except the CB. Something about it just looks a bit gaudy or oversized to me.

I like it, I think it has an "antiqueish" look to it; as laurie said. There is something about the cb that throws it off a little but I'm not sure what it is but I still like the look of the pen.

I like the wood combo and the finish is flawless. The shape on the ends looks nice as well, although I preffer a more conservative shape (round or flat)without the step. I can't comment on the band I kind of like it but it seems a bit thin and or not matching the tile of the clip.
Overall I think the pen looks great.

a churchill wears a size 4, though these are a small 4.
