Hi All,

Just bought a mitre saw today, as I have been trying to make segmented pens on my bandsaw, but really need a good jig for it, that holds the blanks stady for cutting.

The Mitre saw is fantastic and makes it so much easier to make a good fitting joint.[8D]

Here is my first pen, made tonight.

Looking forward to doing more.

If anyone has any tips or tricks for using a mitre saw for segmenting, I'd be glad to hear them.[:p]

I like the lamination very much. The shape is a bit chubby for my taste though. Overall, very nice.

Like the laminations but the shape is a bit too full for me as well.

BTW - do you get your pen boxes laser engraved in the UK? I can't find anyone to do it at a good price.

Regards

Richard

Hi all,

Thanks for the feedback.

Chisel - I agree also, it is not to everyones taste, but this shape appeals very much to women, and sells very well.

Pikebite - I'll send you a private mail with some details.
