Your both did a great job! So does Ali get to keep this work of art?
Question. You baked it before casting it in acrylic? The clay must have been very thin.

Thanks! - Actually there is a series of 10, very similar to this but in different colors. This was just the first and an experiement with casting. Ali will get most of them, she said I could keep the one I like best. Pretty good deal since I sent her the tubes with a postage paid return envelope, I pay for the kits, and I do the casting and turning - but she is a good kid and loves crafts.

She sends them to me with the clay baked. I put them on the lathe, shave and smooth them down, and they are pretty thin when I'm done, but on the Euro there is enough room to play with. Could be a challenge on some of the other kits though.
