I've been told they look more like sweet gum tree seed pods and I tend to agree, but they are sold as mini pine cone blanks so that's what I'm calling it for now.

Love the color mix with this one and paired it up with a simple satin copper baron with a reduced center band.

That is one sweet pen there, Carl. I like the reduced center band idea. It really pulls the two blank halves together.
