Finally got around to turning one of MIKL's blanks that Exoticblanks.com had featured. Talk about crystal clear! I always get very nervous turning PR close to bushings as that is usually where a tool catch will occur and blow it up! Luckily, careful attention and an iron grip on the tool coupled with some MM sanding and Novus polish and this blank shined right up! Mated it with a Sierra two-tone chrome and silver kit from Bear Tooth Woods.

Next up I had some Curly Koa lying around and turned that down to fit one of Bear Tooth Woods Triton Rollerball kits. This wood was extremely tough to turn and killed my edge on my tool! Had no idea Koa was that tough! 8 coats of thin CA, MM sanding, and Novus polish to finish this pen out. Not my greatest but I believe it will still sell at the craft fair.

C&C Welcome and appreciated!
