Default Mica-Acrylic Paintscape Pens

Some artist friends (who also make their own paints from raw pigments ground into various "vehicles") requested some colorful dimensional "paintscape" pens to brighten up the Holidays.

Mica powders ground into various Golden and Liquitex brands acrylic polymers.
Pen tubes sanded, then acetone washed.
Painted under high magnification with fine brushes, palette knives, and toothpicks.
Each pen is 3-4 layers of paint applied 1-2 days apart.
"Paintscapes" then cured for 1 week.
Cast tube-in with Douglas and Sturgess Clear Casting PR and copper flakes at 50psi.
Cured x 1 week.
Turned and finished as usual.
2 Virage Fountain Pens, and 3 Slim Stylus Pens, with close-up views:

Warm regards and happy Wednesday to all - Bob

Wow. These pens are so unique and beautiful. How does one get fortunate enough to be such a great painter AND turner???

The pen on the far right reminds me of Van Gogh. The swirls, colors and layers - very beautiful!
