This blank makes me think "deep blue sea," so I paired it with the octopus tentacle.

Got the blank from exoticblanks.com. The tentacle is an adjustable ring I got off alibaba. It had to be glued in place to keep it from opening up or sliding around.

Only other pic for now as pen is at work. I like "pentacle." I hadn't thought of those names. Those are pretty good!

I am so taken with that pen, I need to ask some more questions !!

What is the length ... closed as in the second picture

Did you use one or two blanks to make it ... my guess is two

What threads did you use, cap to body

Do you know what material the blank(s) is(are) ... PR, Alumilite ... probably neither.

The blanks are in the Italian Resin category on exoticblanks.com. I used 3 blanks for this - two to make the pen and one scattered across the floor. The pen is about 147mm end to end closed. Cap to body are 14x1 mm threads as I have not invested in double or triple start taps and dies yet. This let me put a little more shape in the section for the #6 Jowo nib.

Here are a couple of close ups of the pen. Little dust on it, sorry!
