Amboyna Burl Statesmen, if you look at the difference between the cap and the body you can see that they look different. The body was supposed to be turned around so the lighter parts matched up. This piece had a bunch of inclusions that were a pain in the butt to fix as well, ended up sanding it down twice before I was happy with the finish.

The good thing about burls is that if you do mess up the allignment, it's really hard to tell, unless you're a pen turner and even then, it can be difficult. The pen looks great and I love how the wood looks.
