These 2 are an attempt at making "Equal Opposites"
They are made from Yellowheart, Ziricote and blue veneer with the pieces put together opposite of each other.

This is made from cut off's from a segmented bowl I made.

Redwood Burl

This was made with basic Pine. Bottom is dyed black and the top is made from Pine pieces (grain offset by about 15 degrees from each other) red and black veneer and aluminum strips.

Osage Orange with Mahogany and Maple

PSL - Parallel Strand Lumber - Used for structural beams in construction - Absolute terror to turn. Next time I am going to try stabilizing it to see if it works better.

These are a set of pens made with Stabilized Cypress. (Cypress is tough to turn until you stabilize it then its a dream.)

Purple Dyed Curly Maple with a Celtic Knot

This one came together as an experiment that turned out pretty nice I think.
Its Holly wood with a charm bracelet spacer used instead of the crappy one that came with the pen.
