Here is a Sierra made from a mesquite blank that was cast using my "Worthless Wood" casting technique. The pattern is completely natural and has not been altered. The resin is a blue/grey color with some metallic swirl. The finish is CA. This is my favorite mesquite pen I have made. I just love the pattern and it looks fantastic in person!

That is a beauty for sure. I have seen very few worthless wood pens that I really thought they were nice, but that one is a WOW.

Sorry Stevers, that mesquite is 100% pure Texan, my friend! This is Honey Mesquite from a local road expansion project a few years ago! I don't think Arizona mesquite is as pretty!:biggrin::biggrin:
