From the Mesquite Tree Jr Gent.

Last week I posted some wood porn of a big Mesquite tree that I was lucky enough to get, that had some nice burls on it well here is a peek of some of what is on the inside. :biggrin: This piece came out of the big burl that is in the middle, with some sap wood on it. It has a CA finish that has been sanded to 2400 then chrome polished then plastix polished. It is on a CSUSA Jr Gent.

That's a nice looking pen. I can only imagine how hard it is to cut fresh mesquite with a handsaw! Looks like it was worth the effort.

Thanks, actually this is a great saw I picked it up at home depot for $24.00 and it cuts and tracks great which made it pretty easy.
