Mesquite file pen

This was a mesquite blank out of a bunch of different blanks from Ron_Mc. There were some real nice pieces in there. I just need to get some kits that will do them justice. Finish is Enduro. I know this kit is not the thing for most people but as an avid fisherman with a wife that loves wetting a hook just as much; this was made for our use.

Nice work, Chris. Does the nib have any function? If not, perhaps consider a closed end "pen"?

There is a functioning pen in the nib. I like to write down what I catch and when to see if there are any patterns that might be helpfull. Also when fishing from a boat and you find a good peice of structure it is good to write down the GPS location so you can find it again. this is one of those 2 birds with one stone items[]
