This was an order from a friend. I made one and she liked it so much she wanted 5 more. The wood is from Rockler and the kits are from Woodturnginz. I finished them using the 3 step process by Mylands, also from Woodturninz...I'm still a begineer.

Great fit, finish, ect. The only tweak I see is a couple of them do not line up. The top pen seems to line up perfect. But that is just my 2 cents.

Yeah, they look great and quite intriguing when you stare at them, my only observation is the alignment, particularly on the second pen from the top on the first pic, is the only one that seems to have been assembled totally out of alignment on the closed position, all others are a lot better.

That is all an easy fix, though..!:wink::biggrin:

Very nice. I think the 2nd pen can be aligned just by twisting the barrel a little. The 2 bottom ones look like the grain pattern is reversed. But that could have been the plan. But no matter they are all nice pens.
