I'll be spending some weeks ahead restoring the South Bend 9 I just got (posted in another thread). However, this was a project I began a while ago -- abalone in nickel silver. Frustrating to do, since the shell had to be pieced together to extend the full length of the inlays. Still, I was pleased with the result.

I have only done kit work with some heavy mods, but am moving toward kitless. When I make that move, it will certainly include work like this you displayed. I just am hopeful to achieve this level of accomplishment. Very nice!
