Last night I made a segmented cigar pen with Mexican cocobolo and Eggplant acrylic, so today I made a matching Pentel pencil to go with it
Mexican cocobolo and Eggplant acrylic segmented with black dyed veneer and aluminium
CA finish, mcro-meshed and buffed

Well now! Someone has been busy!!

Great looking set! Is that guitar pick as a seperator?
Colors work together perfectly, and fit-n-finish....outstanding.

Either one by itself is WOW. Together, they are exquisite.
The way the coco is on the outside on one, and on the inside on the other, helps negate the use of different components. You even managed to give them the same flow. Can you tell I love this set? Lots of cool details in there.

SDB777..I use black dyed maple veneer and aluminium for the accents. No they are not sold yet.I sorta like these so I think I may keep them to show off. Thanks

Excellent design and execution. I wouldn't have picked a cigar to be a good match for a Pentel, but it works really well. I guess opposites do tend to attract. I really like that combo, and the finish is exceptional looking from here.

I guess between the Mexican wood and the tie dye purple, that would have to be a Mexicali blues sorta set.
