Matching Kitless Fountain Pen and Roller Ball Made from Solid Copper rod. Boring and threading done on my South Bend 9a metal lathe.... Shaping, Sanding and polishing done on my wood lathe :)

The Fountain Pen is sporting a Fine Bock Nib, Feed and Housing.

I went with clipless on both.... I may make another set and put on a Clip to see how they turn out... but for these two... not :)

Stunningly beautiful !!! .... these are real eye-grabbers !!!! What finish, if any, did you put on the copper ? Any lacquer or ... ?

@ Mal... it's just a polished finish with a bit of Ren Wax .... I expect them to develop a very nice patina.. but a wipe down with a fine polishing wipe would keep them shining for forever :~)

Roller Ball is 88 Grams Capped ~ 59 Grams Uncapped
Fountain Pen is 86 Grams Capped ~ 60.5 Uncapped

28 Grams to the ounce :~)
