Marri

[Buzz]

Polaris pen and pencil in Marri. Marri is a Western Australian Eucalyptus growing up to 60 metres in height. Usually full of gum vein which makes for an interesting looking timber in large sections such as table tops.

The pencil has some nice curly figure in it, the pen was supposed to as well, but when turned down to size, did'nt finish up as showy as the pencil.

Also, a Polaris pen in Jarrah. This picture is not as good as the other.

I like both woods. gold hardware dosen't do it for me.
chrome or a satin finish hardware may look better.

other than that great looking pens and pencil.
