Apparently it has been over 4 months since I've turned a pen. And this is only #4 for the year! What a year it has been - crazy busy with family and work and health and . . .

I figured I would be a little rusty so I wanted to start with something that I thought wouldn't be too finicky. And it turns out I was right. I picked this blank/combo up from Classic Nib's Bash sale in February. I've turned a handful of feather blanks from John U and they have always been real smooth to turn, so I was a little concerned in trying Marla's since I hadn't turned any of her blanks before, but my concern was unfounded as is turned very smoothly!

It was nice getting back into the shop. Some healthy stress reduction therapy.

God Bless,
Dave

Beautiful execution, fit, finish and kit. Now if we can get Pete on the property they bought get started on Marla's studio so we can see more of her work here, oh well for perfection we can wait a few more months
