Mark's Fault

Well my Vertex didn't turn out as pretty as the one Mark did, but I'm pretty happy with it. I think I could have made the body a hair fatter and it would have looked better. I like this kit. It is different. I forgot to get bushings so I used the bushings for a long click and than finished turning to size between centers. The "click" is really different, there is no "Click". You push the button down, it stays down, no click sound. Press it again it pops up. I hope that is how they are suppose to work.

I used a free blank, supplied by Exotic Blanks, I should have known it would be a pretty blank, but you couldn't tell until it was turned.

I think I would name the blank "Root Beer Swirl".

I like it the way it is Paul . I think the fat center would have taken away from the looks .

I definitely like the Vertex better without the fat center PSI shows.

Nice work Paul, I agree I think it looks better with out the fat belly, wouldn't be likely to roll around on a bench or work table.

Like Durocshark stated, Vertex from Penn State Industries. They are sure having a hard time keeping them in stock.
