I got this kit and blank in the last PITH from Mark. I turned it yesterday and it turned great. I really like the looks of it. I finished it with 6 coats of wipe on polly.

Whew... Now I can sleep better!

You turned an excellent pen (and the blank is OK also).

As I make more of these with different color schemes and accent pieces, it is always a roll of the dice if I made it well.

I appreciate you displaying, it gives me a chance to see the blank again - memory has never been my strong area.

I donated this pen to a friend of mine. He found out his dad has brain cancer. They are doing a benefit to help raise money for him. They will sell chances to win the pen, a browning shotgun, and a yeti cooler. His dad has insurance but the deductible is crazy.
