Back in December I inquired if anyone had art work for the Marine emblem for a pen and several of you asked to see the pen when done. I finally got through my backlog of orders and here is the result.

The other side has the marines name done on it. Engraving by Ken. The photo does not really show the very nice detail.

Thanks to those who serve.

Richard,
Nice. IMHO if the emblem was lowered slightly it could have been larger. I second Serge. That doesn't appear to be bloodwood or Pink Ivory. What wood is it?

The answer is.....

Crushed Cranberry Inlace Acrylester from Woodturningz, if you have not tried this stuff, you need to. The picture does not do the material justice. I particularly like the crushed silver and a discontinued color golden copper (Fritz, are you reading this!!). The pink sky has been selling particularly well with women and I have been getting the breast cancer ribbon engraved on them (let me know if you would like the art work).

Richard,
Very nice pen. It brings back memories.

Billy,
You beat me to it. On both counts, so I'll just translate.
Always Faithful! From another former Jar-Head.
