Marblewood Dymondwood.

Here are two pens made from the Marblewood Dymondwood.
The first one is using just one blank.
The second one is made by gluing three blanks together and making a diagonal cut across the three blanks and gluing those sections together and then cutting that slab into three blanks. Complete instructions on my website.

Great job. I did a few of these that didn't turn out well. The marblewood blanks didn't accept the dye evenly and had spots where the dye didn't penetrate the wood at all. Yours are quite well done.

Were they true Dymondwood? The Marblewood Dymondwood blanks that I have available will not accept any dye. They are solid veneer and very dense.

No that's Spectraply. Dymondwood is much denser and brighter colors.
