I got a nice piece of Marblewood over at Woodcraft awhile back and I finally got motivated to turn a piece of it. This is an MM-12K, Double buff, Tung Oil, 3 heavy coats CA/BLO, Double buff, Ren Wax.

Hi Bree; Not to take anything away from your nice pen...if you have enough Marblewood leftover to X-cut a piece. Turn a pen from that. You'll be amazed at the difference in how the grain shows off.
