Maple Burl Gentleman FP

This is a pen I made for my Australia Day Pen Swap Partner, and will be leaving for the Land Down Under tomorrow, it's a Titanium Gentleman done with a blank I got from Hans (hewunch)
The blank is Maple Burl wood with Mistletoe, the pen has been fitted with a Heritance SF nib, the wood has 6 coats of thin CA, and 4 coats of med. Micro Meshed to 12000 and buffed with Chromium Oxide,

Sweeet lookin pen. The color combo of the wood and gold TI really look good together. Your swap partner is lucky to be getting it.

The wood was kind of ornery, it was soft and I had t fill a couple of the eye holes , I kept some of the dust and chips just for that purpose, it's a beautiful wood, and turns like most burls, I hope the guy likes it, I wish I'd bought a few more pieces.

Nice work, I think maple is one of my favorite woods, though I like walnut and snakewood a lot too
