This is the latest pen I finished a "Miyabi Kuseru" type pen with a "tame-momiji-nuri".
maple leafs painted with urushi lacquer were pressed on the pen body and sprinkled with different metal powders such as gold, copper and iron.
After drying the metal powders werw slightly ground and polished. Then around 30 layers of transparent urushi lacquere were applied and ground, polished.

Cheers,

Martin

I am seeing small autumn color maple leaves "tame-momiji-nuri", presenting in a subtle manner which will become more prominent with time. Pens with a future promise!

I could not find an 'Extreme Like' button, had to settle for 'Like'.

Incredibly nice !!!!! . I love the shape and the styling, as well as the almost hidden maple leaves !!!!!

Makes me wanna sing 'O, Canada !' and 'The Maple Leaf Forever' !!
