This afternoon, I finished a new pen design and a pen case.

A Pen on with the tread to the cap is located at the end of the section, turned from ebonite as usual and lacquered with urushi in Negoro Style.

The case cut with an axe from a piece of Elm tree branch. Lacquered also with urushi in negoro style. Probably not handy to carry around but a nice object for the desk, to protect the urushi lacquer from light

Best,

Martin

Martin, I never tire from looking at your pens. This is another lovely pen! The black and red combinations are elegant and timeless.

The case is another work of art. It reminds me of a chestnut.....rough and jagged on the outside but contains a wonderful hidden treasure!

There is no mistaking your work. You own this part of the pen market in my opinion. Great job.
