Default Manu Propria Pens - Kurotake & Momiji

Finished Yesterday evening a pen made from black Bamboo (Kurotake) with "Fuki-Urushi" and "Momiji Maki-e" Urushi lacquer. Fuki-Urushi is sealing Wood or Bamboo with transparent Urushi. Momiji-Maki-e is pressing Japanese Maple Leaf with pigmented Urushi on Bamboo Ground and sprinkled with various metal powders

Best regards,

Martin

Breathtaking Pen Martin,
When I think I must have seen them all, you Conceive, Develop, and Create, another Fantastic Pen.
With your Usual Perfect Proportions, and Profile,
But with an Incredible Finish of Metal Impressed, with a Japanese Maple Leaf Pattern.
Adorned with the Autumn Colours of Gold, and Silver. - Spectacular, Beyond Belief.
Outstanding Craftsmanship, my Friend, and Another Front Page Candidate.
Congratulations,
Brian.
