This is my first Sedona kit and first pen with Truestone. It turns easier than acrylic, but I have trouble holding the level of polish, it dulls afte a while. Comment welcome. Thanks for viewing.

Very nice!! I like the tru stone blanks I have only turned on the pink coral it was easy to turn i have heard that the lapis is very hard to turn I will have to try it and see. I really like the sedona kit it is fast becoming my favorite i really like the way the pen feels and the smoth feel of the threads when posting the cap. Again very nice!![:)][:p]

I was somewhat disappointed in the Malachite when I turned it. It seemed to be on a par with some of the acrylics in its looks. Like you, Bob, I had a heck of a time getting it polished to my satisfaction - even with EEE Ultra Shine, new micro-mesh and 20/20 Polish.

The lapis (IMHO) has a more realistic look but since I'm momentarily out of the higher end kits to pair it with, the now turned tubes are sitting on the bench waiting for a kit.
