MAJESTIC SQUIRE IN SNAKEWOOD

I've read with interest the several "Snakewood" threads here. I completed this pen on April 25, taking four days. So far, no signs of cracking. I took two days to drill it out, using frozen drill bits, starting with 7mm and then 3/8 in. When swapping out bits, I would put the shank of a frozen bit in the drilled hole to keep the blank cool. I sealed the inside and the ends of the blank with thin CA, and used Gorilla glue to glue the tube. After turning to size, I wet sanded only. Finished with CA.

I know my photography is not the best, however, all comments, critiques welcome. Thanks.

Just an idea that came to me (I don't know if it is original or not). With all the threads saying that heat is the enemy with Snakewood, I thought it wouldn't hurt. I have no idea if it is effective.

Looks good John! i hope it stays that way,i wonder what the knife makers do to stop the snakewood cracking,also the thin CA gets really hot when curing i don't no if this could cause cracking.
