First Majestic full size black T/N.
Trustone malachite (green color).
tried the pictures outside with no flash, it is slightly overcast and the
color of the trustone did not come thru very well.
Any and all comments welcome.

I just got done ordering the majestic squires to try out. IO looked at those and almost boght one. What do think of the kit??? Have you used these before and does the plating stand up?? I am skeptical of ordering PSI stuff. By the way great looking pen and the fit and finish look great. Thanks for showing.

John, I seem to like the Squire's, have made some and well received.
I like this Majestic kit, it is large in every sense, but nice.
The crystal seems to be attractive to buyers, even if we don't all care for them. The tail seems slightly clubby, it could stand some shape and a little shorter would be nice.
This is my first, so I am not in the know on plating life, but this one has a slight flaw under the plating on tail piece, not bad at all, but it's there to a close inspection, like a couple picks under the plating in the base material.
I use to be leery of PSI also, but their quality seems to be stepping up lately.I would make this one again!

Your pen looks outstanding. I've been considering trying that kit. What's your thoughts and feelings on the kit?
Thanks, Randy, I like it pretty darn well for my first one.
I would recommend it for the fact that it is very quality feeling and shows very nicely.
See my reply to John's questions about the kit, Thanks!

Thanks, Neil! I just wish the color would have shown up better, it is outstanding.my pic skills are hit and miss however.

I'm glad the color DIDN'T show up better!

I've never been a fan of this kit, but looking at your photos I can see that
it would look pretty good with a plain black blank.

Now sure what yours looks like in person, but it looks great in the photo.
I'm going to have to order one and try it.

Thanks,Charlie. I think it would be great with black blank.
I would loosely put this kit in the same quality class as the Statesman.
I did edit and add a color shot to show off the "grain".:)

Johnny,
Really nice job and the color goes well with the plating. The Majestic seemed a little oversized anhd flashy to me at first, but it is definitely growing on me. I'm getting to kind of like it. Pens like yours just add to the appeal. Nice job!

I think the Bl Ti and green malachite go great Johnny. Will have to put that combination into my files. The kit is a bit large but some poeple like them, they are growing on me too.
