I've turned a lot of bolt actions, but never tried the magnum kit before. Bought one by mistake and decided to dress it with a piece of French galalith. It does seem to have more heft to it. I think I found my new carry pen!

C & C always welcome!

Thanks, Kevin. I got the galalith on ebay from a guy in France. It is approximately 100 years old. Its not larger in diameter than the finished size. Just took some slow, careful drilling.

Jim, thank you! I appreciate it.

Charlie, it is a unique blank. I've used it before with regular bolt actions, but decided to try it on the magnum despite its small diameter. Thanks for the compliment.

Seth, thank you! It is a unique material. Galalaith was one of the first plastics formulated for commercial use (I think:eek:)

John, I appreciate the compliments. It does get attention when I use it.
