This is a sterling silver baron from angle cut Magnolia. The blank was cut from right next to the center of the branch, which gave me the loops that spiral around the pen. I sold this one to someone I had just met and they didn't even blink when I said it was $75. The finish isn' perfect and I have since made some maple bushings for sanding to avoid the staining near the ends. This wood has gotten me the most immediate sales of any that I have done (corn cob pens are a close second). Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

Very nice looking pen. GratZ on the sale. Not sure about using maple bushings, you would have to replace them almost everytime due to sanding down. Might look at corian, acrylic or some other type of material that will give you a few uses.
