I love both the magnetic Vertex and Graduate pens from PSI. I just finished this rollerball version. It's for my mom, for her birthday. The wood is Bethlehem olivewood. I'm extremely happy with how it turned out.

I made this fountain version a couple of weeks ago. The wood is desert ironwood from Arizona Silhouette. I do believe there's some chatoyance in the wood!

Great looking pens Jim !! I also like the magnetic pens. No hassle in grain line up, no threads to cross, and is makes a better impression on people when the pieces snap together. I'm sure your mom will love it !! Jim S

Kind of like the Fountain Pen. Have you had enough experience with these to know how they hold up to ink drying? Is there a good enough seal so it will still write after a week or so?

The Olive wood pens are awesome...the finish looks great and pretty sure Mom will love hers! if not send it my way..

I made the fountain pen a couple of weeks ago, and it still writes fine. It hasn't dried out yet.
