Madrone Burl, Cocobolo and Aluminum Accent

Ok here is one of the pens that I have made this weekend. This one was a pain the Cocobolo isn't as stable for the ends so I really had to pay attention to my drilling and turning. It came out ok and I like the contrast between woods. I hope you like it too.

How does it compare to the Jr. Gentlman ll Pen.... I like the metal threads on the Jr. Gentleman and I like it's heft... but if the atrax is as comparable...Id prefer to purchase from Exotic Blanks if possible.

I think the Atrax is a very nice pen. I uses exactly the same tubes and bushings as the Jr. Gent 2. I think the Jr Gent 2 is a higher end hardware set but I make lots of Atrax pens. This is by far and away my favorite size pen.
