Nice bunch of pens!! The Carob looks very much like a batch of Makore I have (entered an Ultra Cigar in the Pretty Wood contest for its simple elegance)--and I feel the same about your Cigar pen--beautiful!!

It had some cracks in it so I was paranoid it was going to blow up on the lathe but it held together with great results. Relatively hard wood though, so that must have helped.

I didn't think it had been very long judging from your join date. You're doing great work for the relatively short amount of time you've been making them!
