Overall I'm pleased with the look of this pen. I have had problems with the threading though. I find the material to be quite powdery, and although the threads hold more than well enough, they are quite loose. I'm wondering if the metal within the blank is building up in the threads of the tap/die and causing extra cutting. I'd be interested to hear of anyone elses experiences threading this stuff. The blanks came from Timberbits.

The centreband is made from sterling silver bearer wire, silver soldered into a ring. There are a couple of very small blemishes but I think it's a bit too thin to risk taking any more off.

Looks good to me, almost like wood grain. Cant wait for my M3 to arrive.
