Thanks to some birthday bash discounts and a group buy (for the Statesman) I was able to get a M3 blank and some Tru stone. The first is the Damascus Steel on a Jr. Statesman (I'll be upgrading that nib soon). 2. Blue Lapis Tru Stone on a Sculpted Pen. 3. Carob Slimline with CA finish sans centerband 4.Red Mallee Burl on an Australiana sierra. 5. A photochromatic blank I picked up in a grab bag on a black titanium slimline.

Congrats on the products. You have a very nice group of pens. Nice work & great pictures too. I really like the M3 and the Red Malee blanks.

The Damascus Steel looks amazing. I've been wanting to try one for a while now.

How did you finish your Tru-Stone? I have some blue lapis on the lathe right now, but I can't seem to get it to shine.

I do a thin CA finish on my tru stone. I struggle to make it shine as well so I do that as a work around.

Thanks! That's what I figured people were doing. There's something I like about the unfinished, flat look I like too. Guess I have a decision to make.
