Here's something I don't think I've seen before.

Lower barrell is Red Box Elder Burl and African Blackwood.

I think it's going to get love it or hate it responce, but was a fun project.

This was the first attempt of a couple for sure.

Comments and questions welcome.

Real nice, get it down to only two dice and you could have a winner around here. Casino dice are not hard to come by but they are also bigger, expensive also. But get a couple of the casinos interested in these for there gift shops I'm sure they would solve any dice problems. probably get you more business than you would want also.

Daniel,

Some good thoughts there.

I have skethed ideas using 1-5 dice, this was just the first attempt to see how it would go.

You're probebly right about the casino thing....hmm.....

Thanks,

John

That's a pretty cool idea. Have you thought of turning the upper blank? Don't know if you would start cutting into the dots or not, but it could be worth a try.

Just keep in mind that casino dice are larger. but the size is exact so once you have it figured out you won't have to worry about the next pair fitting. Last I checked they where about $25.00 a set and already have a hole drilled in them, although a small one.
