LSU Graduation Gift

My daughter in law wanted me to make a pen and box for her brother who is graduating from LSU with a MBA. And this is what I come up with. The pen is a cigar made of dyed box elder burl from AS and the box is purpleheart and yellowheart. Both were engraved and she was very pleased with them.

That is really nice but I have some custom maid blanks from Karl that are LSU colors that are really nice. If you want to see them let me know. Or look at my pics I think i have a sierra with one of those blanks.

Very Nice pen. Did you do the egraving yourself or farm it out?
