Ok, so it's not really snake, but it is snakewood! :D

Copper Euro with some of Chit's snakewood.. 10 coats of lacquer that was sanded like glass. (brought it up to 12000 MM wet, prior to polishing) This one will grace my own pocket, well until the next one crosses my fancy. [:I]

It turned very nice, it "feels" very hard and slightly brittle, but with a sharp skew it was fine. This blank was one of Chitwood's that he treated, I can't remember exactly what the name of what he treats them with at the momnent though..

Very nice looking pen.I made my first snakewood last saturday but alas I did'nt get a chance to get a pic of it. My group was demonstrating at the county fair and no sooner than I got done with it someone watching bought it right away.Got a good proce for it though.
