I powder coated the tubes red and then cast them inside of pieces of loofah. Not as much loofah left as I would have like, but overall I am happy with the way it turned out.

I've casted a Loofah European, but I have yet to turn it. Did you use the center rib, our the outside edge?

I used the outside edges where the spoke (?? not sure what to call it) connects to the center. I drilled a hole through the center of it and pushed the tube in. I still have the center that I will try in another pen.

Looks really good Steve l have also done a few loofa the way l done mine was l cut out the center then clear cast it l also cast the outsides in a round plastic pipe. drilled out the blanks then sprayed the inside of the blank black they are ok but l think cactus looks better[]
