Hi All,

Long time with nothing new to show...
Seem to have sorted out the Out Of Round issues i was having.
My live center was more like a dead centre!!
The bearings were worn and no good.
Replaced with a Nova Live Centre and all is good again!!

So here are two Longwood Clickers!
One is from Padauk and the other from a strange looking African Blackwood blank. Only one area of black with the rest a really pretty brown colour with black streaks in it.

I was having a lot of issues with my medium CA, so i switched to using just thin CA and that seemed to sort it out.
Lost count of how many coats are on these guys...

Wet sanded and MM to 12000 and then Brasso and a layer of ICE WAX.

Comments welcomed.

Andrew

Andrew both look nicely turned and have a great finish, I particularly like the African Blackwood , also I happen to be a fan of the long clicks,
