It's been way too long! I transferred last spring and have been working hard to square away the new job. Unfortunately that has meant little to no time for penturning. But I finally got back to the lathe this weekend, and here's the first result. The Crusader shield inlay is (of course) by Eagle; the blank is Bethlehem olive; and oh yes, it is indeed symbolic.

First the pen looks great!

Second, Every now and then the members talk about Eagle. I looked in the membership listing and could not find So can anyone pass along a web site or email address Thank you! bill DAniels

From what I understand, Eagle is no longer member of this site. I guess there was issues between him and the membership of this of which I don't know the details.

Ooops, BTW, the pen looks wonderful.
