I received an order for 4 chrome Atrax RBs wrapped in Domestic wood of my choice.
Turned out #1 today wrapped in some Pacific Yew that was harvested about 20 miles from my shop. I love working with Yew.

Great looking pen there Dick .

You are lucky to have yew growing where you live. It seems to all be out on the west coast from where I am but a fella sent me some years ago and I still have a little left.

It is amazing how good an oak/pine/yew/ cedar pen can look but I think that is the nicest I have seen of the non exotic wood pens. I think it looks nicer then alot of exotics.

Very nice. Russ Fairfield turned a lot of Pacific Yew in his instructional videos. I really like the look and feel, and it turns easily.
