I picked up this Rosewood blank at Woodcraft a few weeks ago I wasn't looking for Rosewood but this blank jumped out at me. The combination of heart and sap wood was beautiful and I was sure it would make for a nice pen. I paired it up with a Wall Street Click II. I sanded the blank to 12000 mm and finished with my WTF method. All C & C are welcome.

WTF Finish

Good looking Pen Dan!
I saw a question being asked the other day about WTF finish and never got to see the answer, can you explain what it is?

Great looking pen. I use wood turners finish on a lot of the things I make. I like the finish it gives. WTF is great stuff. One bottle lasted me over a year and I haven't even opened the new bottle I bought a couple of months ago. I thought I was going to run out so I bought a new bottle of it and there it sits waiting to be opened. I have just a tiny bit left in the old bottle. Fay

Fay, thanks for you nice comment, I've thought about giving other finishes a try but I like WTF so well I just don't want to.

Sweet! After your first post, I was hoping for a better pic of the heartwood/sapwood line... (I didn't want to ask.)

The last 2 pics are GREAT!

I really like seeing blanks with that much separation!

Very nice Dan!
